Soft autumn
« on: 07:04 04-Oct-2012 »
Is it me and my failing and aging memory, or is this late autumn rather warm and long? To wit, we're still sitting in the digs with the AC going most evenings, I'm still mowing grass twice a week (shades of Florida!), and VCO has new blossoms on her numerous and diverse flowers and bushes in the gardens. Outside during the day it's shorts and Tshirt weather still. Hmmmm.....

Normal. Simply.

There is no autumn, no spring anymore. Here in Kyiv, in Prague, in Copenhagen.
Either it's summer, or - wham-boom! - it's winter. Either it's winter, or - wham-boom-bang! - it's summer.

No, I do not blame it on 'global heating'. I blame on me becoming old and sentimental - which is better than being sarcastically dead  ;D

Yes we dined on the terrace ourselves yesterday afternoon.  And walked home on a glorious day.

Tax ID is now in hand.

You'll have to PM me the address for that office, as I have yet to pick up my tax ID. Please and thank you. ;D

Last PM we was grilling steaks on the gas grill. This AM it was shorts and T shirts. This PM the hawk roared through and we got rather nippy temps and a danged cold rain off and on. Knew I shoulda kept me phat mouth shut.

Yes, I had a very pleasant walk home from OVIR yesterday then after a shower I enjoyed a long lunch on the terrace (at our fav shashlik cafe) with my e-reader and a 0.5L of pivo.

I looked out the window around 4.30ish and it was getting rather dark out then.

Up to 19.5 today and sunny, but rain and wind tomorrow and Friday. Aquarium this PM was jacket time and VCO was curled up in a blanket on the couch as we had our evening chat. Sofik was out like a light at my feet and little Henry, the black and white K   A   T  who thinks he's a collie, decided it was pretty warm curled up in that fat hair ball Sofik.
