Highlights for me;

- filling and emptying bathtub by hand
- catching and eating frogs
- covering up 'the signet of death' tattoo with an image of Jesus to protect him from going to hell if he dies in the army.
- digging of the well

I'd say that this video is as good as any in trying to explain Ukrainian country life to someone that's never seen it first hand.
🇺🇸   Life would be tragic if it weren't funny.  🇺🇸

I have not seen anyone in the villages I know have frog legs and escargot
Peace is the failure of the military to convince the government that it can and should kick its enemies ass.

I agree with you there.   I just meant the general atmosphere seems to be a good way of explaining to someone that's never seen the countryside what it's like.

Never seen Ukrainians eat snails or frogs before.
