Saakashvili Train Stopped, Gonna Hoof it now!

David Rochlin:
I was going to say derailed, but...
Poroshenko got Saakashvili's train stopped in Poland, short of the border.  Fans will note he was not only accompanied by supporters, but also by Tymoshenko, which of course is bad optics.  Saakashvili now plans to walk into Ukraine.  No news about whether the passengers want a refund on their tickets.

Ukraine Seeks to Prevent Saakashvili's Entry by Blocking Train

Sounds like some serious poop may go down.

Yulia Tymoshenko is on the train; and she disgusts me.

Let's see if it's real or a show.

It may all be a show.    Maidan part II?   I don't think so.

"Local police detained more than 100 people in camouflage clothing who were carrying pepper spray, a starter pistol and ?metal stuff? as they approached the checkpoint."

I'm expecting the price of Khachapuri to double by Christmas time.

Saakashvili was "Swept" into Ukraine with a crowd of people not pleased with the border being closed:

Interesting.

I wonder if this will technique will work for avoiding a TRP too.

Let's see what happens.  Waiting with bated breath.  [Cue theme from Jaws.]

David Rochlin:
If nothing else, this means Poroshenko isn't ready for the optics of police beating opposition figures with sticks and dragging them to jail.  Not yet, anyway.
