Airline Ticket Prices
« on: 18:17 10-Dec-2018 »
The price of Airfare from the U.S. to Kyiv/KBP may be the lowest in recent history, perhaps, because of the war heating up, and simultaneous low oil prices.  Frommer's rated the Momondo aggregator best for finding cheap flights.  KLM bookings West Coast departures, usually a few hundred more than New England, are only $950 or so.

We've been flying roundtrip from Kiev to west coast of Florida and have been averaging about $730 per person.

I am actually out of Spokane, so my $950 includes additional, but short commuter leg, to get to any West Coast hub.

My latest KBP/jfk r/t prem Econ ran about $1500 on UIA.

Our flight to Jo-berg and back cost about $2500 combined on Lufthansa.  Also premium.

We?re done with the sardine seats.

Onetravel has PE one way for under $1000  KBP to jfk.  So $500 less than earlier this year.

There's no class like First Class.

Business class on some flights is nice too.

Biz might be doable.  How much of a step up is it from Prem on a UIA 777?
