My wife and I, live in Texas, are checking to see if anybody knows of any grocery delivery services in Chernivtsi Ukraine?  My mother in law's 80th is this summer and wife wants to surprise her with some grocery's delivered.  does anybody have any suggestions, recommendations?

I think that Meest offers some service like this but have never used them for that.  Have only used them to ship parcels with good luck until the most recent one being stuck in customs.

I can't imagine an 80 year old babushka would actually want any store bought stuff anyway.  Seems the ones I know wont eat it unless it has been sitting out in some street corner all day in the market.

Eddie, it sounds like he wants local delivery from a local source to me.   Meest will bring it in from the states.
In Russia we only had two TV channels. Channel One was propaganda. Channel Two consisted of a KGB officer telling you: Turn back at once to Channel One. Yakov Smirnoff

You can give Наш Край a try (http://shop.nashkraj.ua/chernivtsi). They do work in Chernivtsi and have not a bad choice of groceries, if you're not looking for anything overly 'exotic' that is.

My wife used this service from Texas, groceries delivered to her mom, right to the door in Chernivtsi.  It worked great.  Thanks for the information.

Evidently nashkraj no longer has a store in Chernivtsi, wife just tried to order some more groceries for her mom.  Anybody know if another grocery chain in Chernivtsi that delivers and does not require a Ukrainian phone number for order confirmation?  We are ordering from Texas.  Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried Silpo? They really developed their delivery because of the 'unspecified virus of unknown origin' ;) and there are some in the area. I don't know if they require a phone confirmation. Take a look at: https://shop.silpo.ua/delivery

Yes we looked at Silpo, but unfortunately they require a Ukrainian phone number.  Thanks for the info tho.

You might be interested in this service. No recommendation offered, just spent a few minutes looking for you. Of course, it might cost a tad more than over the counter but, when it is for one's beloved mother-in-law, money becomes irrelevant!

Oh, here's another ..... enter "Черновцы" into the city.

No idea as to whether local telephone is required. I would suggest this is so that the delivery can ensure someone is at home to accept the order.
