Some of you may be wondering how eggs in California, USA can be six-times more expensive than Arkansas, USA.

Well.....you see, the chickens in California are more famous than the chickens in Arkansas.  They live in more luxurious coops, dine on higher quality seed, and must preen their feathers more often than chickens in Arkansas in order to maintain their beauty and attractiveness to the many famous roosters who live in the neighborhood. Also, the California chickens must insure their coops against frequent earthquakes and wildfires......something the Arkansas chickens do not have to worry about.  Last, but not least, the chickens in California are owned by the "State" of California, and the sale of eggs at a highly inflated price will assist the State during their fiscal crisis (NOTE: the State has a budget shortfall of $15 Billion USD, and recently layed off...no pun intended......22,000 employees, and reduced the salaries of 250,000 other employees to the minimum wage of $6.55 per hour!).
