Title: Arrival at 2 am and hotels
Post by: petkanov on 15:34 18-Jul-2018
Hi,

we are arriving at 2am and was wondering if I book a hotel from booking.com for the day before and the day after if I will be able to check in at around 3am?

Thanks

1. open booking.com
2. read about reception opening hour
- if 24/7 : call the hotel in question and confirm it...
- else : call the hotel & ask nicely if possible

Most sizable hotels are going to have someone at the desk 24-7.   Why book for the day after unless you want to check out after 12:00 noon in which case, you might still be able to do a 1.5 day for late checkout ?  Basically, you should only have to pay for one night.  There can be special circumstances if every room in town is booked for a sporting event, and then you might have to book way in advance.
This doesn't apply at all to daily rental apartments.

Open booking.com
Select a hotel to your liking.
Dig up its address and/or website info and book directly with them, while explaining your case.  ;)

Just to let you know, IRIS hotel allowed that type of booking, paid 1.5 times for late checkout at 6pm,
very happy.   Had a great time, it was over 5 years since last trip to Ukraine
