Title: For Dogs: Indoor Play center?
Post by: David Rochlin on 07:08 07-May-2018
Does Kyiv have an indoor play center/playground for dogs?  This is neither a pet hotel, nor is it a home based dog watching or walking service.  I am aware that Kyiv has outdoor dog parks.

There were 2 pet hotels when I checked a year ago.

One closer to the center.  Small.

One basically based in a dacha with some homespun fencing on Kyiv's outskirts.

Couldn't bring myself to leave my dog in either.

Best bet is to find a neighbor with a dog and a yard.  Build up a reciprocal dog watching relationship.

Indoor play center?  Not that I've heard of.

http://dogcity.com.ua/

in which you can find :

However, seems to be more focused on training and socialising of one's dog.

Doggie boarding centre - looks reasonable.

The Dog city socializing and training and playground sounds like the ticket.

Do you have a dog here?

I just know someone with the common problem of owning a high energy, working type dog, in the city where they go nuts if not exercised two hours a day.

Tell them to get a KONG.   Food goes inside.  Dog sits for hours trying to get it out, which it loves to do.  Dogs are happy to burn energy doing that.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwZI1isnvPQ

Ah, a Siberian Husky or an Alaskan Malamute perhaps?

Very astute guess.

David, I was joking. For me, high energy working dogs in the UK could be a Sheepdog (Collie), a Springer Spaniel or a Red Setter (Irish). They seem to go on forever.
