What would the economy and next decade look like if the GOP could no longer win a state like TX?
If TX rolled over to Blue in the same way as California did?
This would result in the Republican party ceasing to be a national party.
In the midterms, Ted Cruze barely got re-elected running against goofy Bato.
Trump will be the last Republican president. Demographics is destiny.

Build the wall

ICE is doing a great job. If a criminal is found they can remove him/her/it from American soil along with relatives.
Combine that with much stricter policies and enforcement + this citizenship verification like the Real ID program and we'll see major improvements.

Brain drain to get top tier professionals, send the rest back to w/e sh1thole they came from.

I still have some that we can remain free, Danny.  Not a lot, but some.

I may very likely come to a shooting war, the second Revolution.  In that event, the Conservatives have the guns and ammo.

And yes, if needs be, I will take my place on the line.

The U.S. is changing and especially as we get older, living here in America becomes more difficult.  Setting aside the particulars of immigration and of welfare state or nanny state values, America changes for every generation.  There is a tendency to assume it is the worst ever, but people in 19th Century America had it a lot worse, for sure, whether the problems were slavery or painful, repeating recessions that could last an entire generation, largely caused by shortages of gold or silver money.
I know that I would never even want to live in L.A. again, where I was born.  There are a lot of cities I would not want to live in.
The idea of fighting for something is cute, but how do you fight if you are the only person in a city who even understands what you are fighting for?  Isn't that more of a Michael Douglas, "Falling Down" scenario?  I mean, even Texas is changing, Dallas and San Antonio, are already gone.  Texas will be a more liberal and diverse State.  People are fleeing to Red States from mismanaged Blue States, but bring their values with them instead of accepting that their Unions and Social benefits failed.

In my previous incarnation I was a Coolie working on the rail lines in California. Now this time around I am some old white guy....both time periods sucked. All time periods sucked.

I don't think there ever was a time when everything was hunky dory for anyone other than Theodore 'Beaver" Cleaver. Except for the time he fell into that giant teacup bill board...
