Title: Public Transport
Post by: Sailor291 on 17:06 18-Jul-2020
I know in Ukraine that pensioners get free public transport, does that apply to anybody of that age regardless of citizenship? I am 65 and from U.S., will I get to ride for free too?  Its not like I cant afford it, but hey, if its free for me, why not?

Nope, not at all. Travel entitlements are available to Ukrainian pensioners.

Why should Ukraine subsidise foreigners? Think of it as a very small tax paid for finding your love in your twilight years. A bargain!

I would put a ton of emphasis on that "usually"! Here is some more!

We're mid-70s, so old/ancient/antique but young at heart. Most give up their seat for my beloved babushka but not YT!  :(

Average life expectancy in Ukraine is 67.02 years for the guys and 76.5 for the gals, so we cannot complain.
